The multi-room music system manufacturer company Sonos has announced new controller apps for both Windows and Mac which will make it easier to find, play and control the music in any of the room of your home. There are a lot of new features to watch out for including completely new look, a universal search box, universal volume control etc.
The new controller apps have completely redesigned look than the previous version. Universal search box is an amazing feature which lets you search music from your system’s music library, internet radio, music services like spotify, last.fm etc. through a single search box. This feature also allows you to navigate through artists, albums, tracks and playlists. The new redesigned drag and drop feature makes it smoother to add multiple songs to you playlist. You can also drag the songs to put them in a queue. There is a new volume control with one touch party mode which lets you control the volume in all the rooms simultaneously. You can make the sound loud in all the rooms with just one volume control. The new controller apps also allow you to set the sleep timer. Sonos has also introduced a new Mini player widget, which lets you control the music without swamping the screen. You can minimize the Sonos controller and use other apps on your system.
